I share your feelings about museums - I will be visiting the British Museum for the very first time in January, and I am almost breathless with anticipation. When I found out that yes, THE Anlo-Saxon helmet (well, the one that's always used to represent them anyway) is indeed there and will indeed be available for me to see, I did a little happy dance in the living room, much to my husband's amusement. And the Rosetta Stone, and the bits of the Parthenon...
