Ah, Irony
ADH has been, shall we say, at best iffy about the whole "we may have to move if I get a T-T job thing." That's another story. But oh, how ironic is it that Mr.'But I have a good job here,' got laid off about ten minutes before I told him I'd got an interview? What a difference a day makes ...
And no, I'm not gloating. Just reminding myself that fortunes can change in a split second.

Sorry to hear about ADH's job -- that's a sucky feeling.
The implications of calling him ADH ("Great -- who's it gonna be today?") crack me up.
And the Iffy Factor: been there, weathered that, got the chapped hide.
LOL -- I hadn't really thought of it that way, since I've only had the one! It just worked with ADM. But ADH works, especially if you've ever read the Chronicle's Ms. Mentor on non-academic male spouses.
