Because I need to Grade
I'm going to ask about new templates. Because I've realized that this template is over 4 years old. I modified it myself. I like the color scheme (really), and would like to keep some of the same colors. But I think it's time for a change. Opinions and suggestions welcome.

If you just google "blogger templates" there seem to be growing numbers of sites offering lots of more or less attractive ready-made templates. Hopefully if you find a design you like, you could change the colours to suit your own taste.
That's what I did with this one ... but there is the part of me that wants opinions on what my new look should be!
As long as it's not something vile like pink and black with blinky things... I'm sure whatever you pick will be good. But if you really want suggestions, how about something that feels medieval somehow?
Those of us who mostly read via RSS feeds don't care as much about site layout as we used to. My tendency is towards high-contrast simplicity (thus, the present dark sidebar is actually something I wouldn't do) and the broadest possible text window.
Good luck! I just recently redesigned my own blog. What I did was I created a fake blog to test everything out before I made the switch, and then I linked to my "dummy site" so people could tell me what they thought. I agree with Ancarett that a neat graphic would be great (and I'm hoping to create one myself soon). I think something in tone with medieval history would be cool, and with the new blogger beta you can easily change your background color, font color, etc....
Ooh -- I haven't tried blogger beta. Mostly, I need to figure out the code to tile patterns ..
I've been thinking about a redesign too, to celebrate the whole status change thing. Now I can watch ADM do it! Yay! ADM is my guinea pig!d
Ack! Mine is pink and black! Maybe mine is vile??!!?
It's totally not vile, but I liked the Easter-y one better!
The hell? that was me
I just updated my blog-look!!
The Easter-esque one was cool... but I got bored of it.
MW -- I like it! Now I have to look at your code and see what you did!
