History Carnival XXXIX

Ralph Luker has posted History Carnival XXXIX at Cliopatria. It's full of really great stuff, and I'm dying because he's posted some of the stuff I had in mind for Carnivalesque!

Are you sure that all Carnivalesque readers are HC readers? If you're not, at the least you have to cite it so they can find it.

There's a long-standing tradition of double-dipping between Carnivals and Carnivalesques, so I don't think you need to worry, ADM!

How about a cheeky "googlefight":
"History Carnival" scores a nice 182,000 results but "Carnivalesque" wins with 348,000!
