Blogger meet-up at the Zoo

Blogger meet-up at the Zoo??

Hello, all --

has anybody else started this conversation yet?

I suggest we go for the usual Friday meetup at Mug Shots at opening time...

Hells, yes. :D Or else maybe at a pub this year? Just floating the idea, not really invested in it either way. :)

I could do pub. The Eurovision Song Contest final is Saturday after my panel. If we go somewhere with Internet, we could have a watching party

Are early modernists allowed to crash the meetup?

I think this is a Zoo meetup, so if you are attending, you're invited

I'll only be able to make the conference Wed-Fri (pm), so if there's a pub meet-up, I would love it to be on Thursday. (Or Wednesday, I suppose, but is anyone ever there on Wednesday?)

And the Mug Shots standard always works.

I would like to be a part of any or all of these plans :-) But then, let's face it, I will be in Mugshots every morning anyway, except *possibly* Sunday.

I'm there on Wednesday, Heu Mihi. Mini-meet-up?

What about those of us with no transportation other than our feet?

Vaulting and I will show up whenever/wherever (except wednesday morning... not wednesday morning I think.

So the usual Friday morning in V I?

I'm actually wondering if there's any other time to do it (or do another one over drinks in the evening?). Vaulting and I are strongly inclined to go see the plenary lecture at (gods) 8:30 that morning. If it came down to it we'd go to the meetup over it, but it'd be super nice if we could do both...

I'm getting in late-late Thursday, and have a dinner thing Saturday. Like Jonathan, I will be in Mug Shots every morning, most like. But I'm open to add-ons.

And I'll link to this from my blog.

I'm happy with any of these plans but as Mr Eisenstein implies, if a pub is involved then some of us will need driving. Dr Notorious, see you where the caffeine is...

Looks like I'm not going to make the meet-up this year: I've got a friend's panel that I want to go support.

Bad blogger.
